Veteran foodservice industry executive Ken Goodwin has been named President of Oliver Packaging & Equipment. He has overall responsibility for the company, which manufactures bakery equipment for supermarkets, retail bakeries and foodservice operations and designs, manufactures and distributes meal-packaging systems; Goodwin will report to Oliver Products CEO Jerry Bennish. Goodwin joins the Walker, Mich., company from Manitowoc Foodservice, where as vice president, he was responsible for nine brands and operating companies. He previously served as president of BKI Worldwide and held senior management roles with Lancer Corp., Frymaster and Enodis Corp.

Kevin Kelly has been named V.P.-Sales for Southbend/Middleby. In addition to leading sales and marketing efforts for the Fuquay-Varina, N.C.-based brand, Kelly will develop and execute sales strategies and manage and oversee the activities of the regional, chain-account and school-foodservice segment managers. He will report to Southbend President John Perruccio. Before joining Southbend, Kelly spent 16 years with Garland Commercial Ranges/Manitowoc Foodservice, most recently as director-operational sales. Prior to Manitowoc, he was eastern regional sales manager at Bakers Pride.

Standex Refrigerated Solutions Group has hired Scott Ball as Director-Foodservice Chain Business. Ball’s 25 years in the foodservice industry span sales and account management posts at companies including Master-Bilt, Bunn Inc., Nabisco and Lipton/Unilever.

T&S Brass and Bronze Works has appointed Andrew Clayton G.M. of its operations in Shanghai, China. Clayton has a background in manufacturing and labor relations as well as an in-depth knowledge of the Asian foodservice industry.  Most recently at Scotsman Ice Systems as managing director of the company’s Shanghai operations, Clayton was also general-administration manager for the Asia Pacific division of Enodis and spent more than a decade as a practicing attorney and professor of law. He will report to V.P.-Manufacturing Clay White and V.P.-Global Sales Ken Gallagher. T&S’s Shanghai facility includes a manufacturing plant and is the company’s sales headquarters and customer-service center for China.
