C-Tech: Talking About A Defrosting Revolution

C-Tech Innovation’s new RF Tabletop Defroster is poised to change the way operators manage stock and thaw products, reducing waste and increasing revenue. Currently, the catering industry uses expensive, bulky and slow cold water or wet air defrosters to thaw meat and other high-value ingredients for use. This unique product changes everything: It uses radio-frequency waves to slowly warm food, penetrating deeper than microwaves and thawing more quickly and evenly than other technologies. It thaws 2 kg of chicken breast in 25 minutes or 1 kg of steak in half an hour. It has a 4-kg capacity and safely can defrost meat, fish, desserts and dough for immediate use.
