Fred Bonaccorso To Helm M. Tucker

Singer Equipment Co. has appointed Fred Bonaccorso as President of its M. Tucker division. He’ll oversee M. Tucker’s strategy and execution in the Northeast and report to Fred Singer, President and CEO of Elverson, Pa.-based Singer Equipment.

“Fred Bonaccorso’s experience in taking a strategic vision with sales, marketing, customer service and executing on that vision will strengthen M. Tucker’s position as the leading dealer in the Metro New York area,” Singer said. “With a proven track record for successfully leading large-scale initiatives and driving innovation, Fred’s leadership skills are well-suited to drive our growth in the largest and most dynamic foodservice market in the country.”

Bonaccorso most recently served as v.p. at Sysco Guest Supply, where he was responsible for sales, customer service, training and sales strategies. Prior to that, he was v.p. of Internet startup GlobalSpec Inc. and earlier led a 500-plus-member team of sales, marketing, operations and customer-service professionals for Verizon Information Services.

Singer Equipment is the nation’s sixth largest foodservice equipment dealer, reporting nearly $234 million in sales in 2014. M. Tucker, headquartered in Paterson, N.J., supplies the greater New York Metro area with equipment, disposables, and kitchen, tabletop and janitorial supplies; it also helps design and furnish commercial kitchens throughout the country from offices in Paterson and Miramar, Fla.
