Crown Brands Acquires Barware Company

Crown Brands, the Lincolnshire, Ill., maker of smallware, bakeware, storage and transportation products, has expanded into the barware market with its acquisition of Co-Rect Products.

Co-Rect, a Minneapolis-based designer and distributor of premium commercial barware since 1957, joins Update International, Johnson Rose, and Focus Foodservice in the Crown Brands’ portfolio. Crown Brands itself is a portfolio company of Centre Lane Partners, a private investment firm. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Crown Brands CEO Chris Baron said, “The addition of Co-Rect is in line with Crown Brands’ vision to become the industry’s leading, comprehensive supplier of smallwares, bakeware, beverage and storage and transportation items while growing our global presence.”
