Burkett Celebrates Grand Opening

A year before marking its 40^th anniversary, Burkett Restaurant Equipment & Supplies is celebrating the grand opening celebration of its new Perrysburg, Ohio, headquarters. A week of festivities, demos and customer-appreciation days kicked off May 16 at the dealer’s new 95,000-sq.ft. facility.

The renovation is integral to future growth for the dealership. While the building’s office footprint has been cut in half from Burkett’s original square footage, the company’s showroom space has been doubled. The new building also offers a more efficient layout and workflow; LED lights and an updated HVAC system will cut the company’s electricity costs in half.

“We are excited about this next chapter to our business,” said President/CEO Jameel Burkett. “I would like to thank our vendors, our customers, and our staff for all their support in continuing to move Burkett forward.”

Burkett, founded in 1977 in Toledo, Ohio, reported sales of more than $25 million in 2015.
