Ali Appoints Sales VPs At Victory, Beverage-Air

Two major appointments have been made at Ali Group-North America’s Refrigeration Division.

Alexander Tappé, who has been serving as director of sales at Victory Refrigeration, has been promoted to Vice President of Sales. Erica Motes, who had been serving in the same post at Beverage-Air, has been named that company’s Vice President of Sales.

Tappé brings 17 years’ experience in the domestic and international foodservice markets to his office; as Victory’s director of sales, he was successful in developing the specification market. Motes, a 12-year industry veteran, contributed significantly to Beverage-Air’s growth and its relationships with customers and reps. Prior to joining the firm in 2009, she was an outside sales representative for Lund-Iorio.

Motes and Tappé will now manage their respective companies’ manufacturer’s reps, oversee dealer network sales, and build relationships with the consultant community. Regional sales managers for Victory will report directly to Tappé; regional sales managers for Beverage-Air report directly to Motes. Both new vice presidents report directly to Rob August, President of Ali Group North America-Refrigeration division in Winston-Salem, N.C.
