Dubai’s Eathos Acquires SushiArt Chain

Eathos, a Dubai-based regional restaurant operator, has acquired the four-unit UAE sushi chain, SushiArt.

It is the first acquisition for Eathos, which franchises Kababji Grill, Tortilla Mexican Grill and Rita’s Ice stores. SushiArt co-founder Cedric Cerf will manage the transition period, while Eathos takes over the operational management and plans the concept’s expansion in the UAE and across the Gulf Coast Countries, commencing in Saudi Arabia. SushiArt also is the GCC franchisee of Sushi Shop, founded in France in 1998 and currently boasting more than 100 branches globally.

Eathos also is planning its fifth store, in Dubai Motor City, and has inked deals for two locations in Saudi Arabia, one each in Riyadh and Jeddah.
