Martin Cowley Joins Ricca Design Studios

Ricca Design Studios, the international culinary design and consulting firm, has engaged Martin Cowley as Executive Director, Design + Technical Support. Cowley’s career in the foodservice industry spans more than 40 years, and includes 27 years at Disneyland Parks and Resorts as the Senior Manager of Design and Construction. He brings his strategic project planning and technical knowledge background acquired while leading Disney’s food and beverage initiatives in Anaheim, Orlando, Hong Kong, and the most recently opened Shanghai properties. 

Cowley received FER’s Industry Service Award in 2008, and was honored with NAFEM’s Award for Merit earlier this year. He has served on the judging team for the NRA’s Kitchen Innovations Awards since the program’s inception more than decade ago. At Ricca, he’ll turn his energies and breadth of experience in restaurant trends, operations, technology and sustainability focused in design and construction to working with the Greenwood, Colo.-based firm’s nine studios located throughout the U.S. and Asia.
