CFSP, ServSafe Scholarships Available From FEDA

Thanks to support from FEDA’s Diamond Donors, the association’s Education Foundation is once again offering scholarships as an incentive for dealer employees to pursue Certified Foodservice Professional and ServSafe certifications.

Earning the designations strongly boost equipment dealers’ professionalism and credentials in the foodservice industry. Upon earning the CFSP or ServSafe certification in 2016, dealers can apply for one of a limited number of scholarships. The CFSP scholarship will provide $200 and the ServSafe scholarship $100 towards reimbursement of fees for certifications earned in 2016. Checks will be made out to the applicant’s employing organization, unless FEDA is otherwise notified by the president/owner of the employing organization. FEDA members can access the scholarship applications by clicking on FEDA Education Programs section in the Members Only Section of the web site.

The Education Foundation will also continue to offer scholarships to the University of Innovative Distribution program. Information on the 2017 UID Scholarships will be announced this fall. “””
