AutoQuotes Appoints New CEO And Board Members

AutoQuotes Inc. has named Susannah Albright as CEO. She succeeds AutoQuotes founder Kent Motes, who takes on the title of Chairman Emeritus. In addition, the Jacksonville, Fla., company has named Motes’s three children, Kate (Motes) Schmidt; Kent Motes Jr.; and Alex Motes to the board of directors; Schmidt will succeed her father as the board’s chair. Albright also gains a seat on the board of the company, which provides software solutions and a technology platform for manufacturers, dealers, reps and consultants in the foodservice equipment and supplies industry. Motes founded AutoQuotes in 1990.

Albright has served as executive v.p.-marketing since joining AutoQuotes in 2015. She’s previously managed products and services at companies including Intuit, Lucent and Octel Communications. “Since joining our team last year, Susannah has fully embraced my father’s vision for AutoQuotes as the technology leader for the foodservice equipment and supplies industry. We are confident in her expertise to help us continue to focus on both our core software and new opportunities,” says Schmidt.

“Our father brought Susannah into the company last year because of her experience with high-tech marketing and product management, as well as her perspective as a small restaurant owner,” said Alex Motes. “She has already made substantial enhancements that enable us to better serve our customers and strengthen our position in the marketplace.”
