EquipHotel Stays Fresh With New Presentations

For more than half a century, trade show visitors have been heading to Paris for EquipHotel. In 2014, an assemblage of 111,000 hospitality and catering industry professionals convened to meet more than 1,600 exhibitors. Next month, the biennial show opens again, with new and notable events, November 6-10, in 30 exhibition sectors across five halls at Porte de Versailles in Paris.

EquipHotel proved in its last edition to be every bit as international as the hospitality and catering industry it serves. Nearly a third of exhibitors in 2014 were from outside France, and nearly 20% of attendees were international; Belgium, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, Germany, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and the Netherlands were especially well-represented.

With its focus on driving progress in the hospitality and catering world, EquipHotel will offer a number of new and notable innovations; these include Innov16, looking at consumption patterns and anticipating the impact of future change on menus.

One of the show’s most striking features will be Studio16, a pop-up “hotel of the future” sited at the heart of Pavilion Seven. The three-story tower, with total floorspace in excess of 4,000 m², will educate attendees on the latest Horeca trends in an area conceived to depict the “perfect” establishment, at the cutting edge of innovation and trends. Furniture and interior design brands will be presented in another new launch site, Signature.

Networking and business will also be top of the agenda at the 2016 edition, with EquipHotel’s Top Buyers’ Club promoting networking and forging connections between buyers and exhibitors.
