Lister Named To Run Famous Dave’s

Michael Lister has been appointed to replace Adam Wright as CEO as Famous Dave’s of America; he also been named Chief Operating Officer. Wright has left the company and resigned from the board of directors.

Lister is a 19-year veteran of the Minneapolis chain; he has been a Famous Dave’s franchisee since 2001, after serving as the chain’s senior v.p.-operations from 1997 to 2001 and opening 46 stores. He previously held senior-level leadership positions at Brinker International.

Famous Dave’s owns 37 restaurants and franchises an additional 139 restaurants in 32 states, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
