FEDA 2017 Convention Focuses On Challenges Of Change

Registration details for FEDA’s 2017 Annual Convention will arrive in mailboxes early in December, but a glimpse of the program has already been unveiled.

The April 5-9 convention at the J.W. Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio focuses on leadership and ideas in a changing landscape and the impact on dealers. Convention Chair Paul Parr of Hockenbergs and Assistant Chair Keith Kidwell of Central Restaurant Products have put together a lineup of speakers and programs to help the association’s members succeed in the competitive marketplace.

Among the programs are:

  • Keynote speaker: Daniel Pink, author of To Sell is Human: The Surprising Truth About Moving Others, Drive, and A Whole New Mind discusses “Leadership and New Principles of Influence”
  • How Smart Companies Are Rethinking Innovation
  • Gen-Power: Unleashing the Potential of Every Generation
  • Viral Business: Inspiring Customer Loyalty
  • Hiring and Compensating Salespeople
  • The Five Things Every CEO Should Be Able to Do From His/Her Phone
  • How to Structure a Winning Sales Department
  • Closing speaker: Carey Lohrenz, pioneering U.S. Navy Tomcat fighter pilot, will talk about “Fearless Leadership.”
