MAFSI ANNUAL CONFERENCE GOES VIRTUAL

The Manufacturers’ Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry is making attendance a click away for its annual conference next month. “The New Road Back: How Reps and Manufacturers are Navigating the New Economy” doesn’t require registrants to fly or drive to the Westin La Cantera Resort in San Antonio, though. MAFSI is staking its claim for the future and spreading its educational and networking opportunities by making its annual conference Sept. 22-25 a virtual one.

Reps and manufacturers unable to make it to Texas can attend the virtual version of the MAFSI conference through live streaming broadcasts of educational sessions and by networking online with fellow conference participants. Educational programs cover topics include how Internet sales impact product pricing and local sales reps; the impact of buying groups on the future of foodservice; and pricing strategies and effective channel pricing.

To register, select the virtual registration option. MAFSI is guaranteeing satisfaction as well. Attendees—online or in the flesh—who are not satisfied with the 2010 MAFSI Annual Conference and SMF will receive a refund of their conference registration fee.
