Alto-Shaam is strengthening its presence in the Middle East with the hiring of Christopher Ball to fill the newly created role of sales manager for the region.

In this position, the former corporate chef will be responsible for growing the company in the Middle East, primarily focusing on Saudi Arabia, and building and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers, including channel partners, foodservice consultants, kitchen designers, chain accounts and end-users.

Before joining Alto-Shaam, Ball was managing director of Dubai-based KDesign, a kitchen, laundry and waste management design firm, where he developed relationships with key hotel operators and restaurants throughout the Middle East.

“With his culinary background and more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, Christopher is uniquely qualified for this new role on our Middle East team. His enthusiasm for providing a next-level experience for our key customers and partners makes him the perfect fit for our team,” says Gabriel Estrella Talenti, Alto-Shaam director for the Middle East and Africa, in a press release.
