Breakfast Brand Announces VP Appointment
The individual has been a “critical force” in helping the South Carolina-based brand nearly double its reach.

Julie Krupa, formerly of Taco Bell and Torchy’s Tacos, has been promoted to vice president of real estate development at Eggs Up Grill—the 98-unit brand she’s been with since 2023.
In her new role, she will continue to lead strategic market development and support for new and existing franchise partners.
“Julie’s vision and leadership have transformed the way we approach development, from introducing innovative prototypes to creating a seamless process that supports franchise partners from site selection through opening day,” says Ricky Richardson, CEO of Eggs Up Grill. “Her impact is felt in every new market we enter, and this promotion reflects the critical role she will continue to play as we cross the 100-location milestone and pursue even greater growth.”
Krupa has nearly two decades of experience in franchise real estate and development. Her expertise spans site selection, design, construction and franchise partner support. Beyond Eggs Up Grill, she is a member of the Women in Restaurant Leadership network and a regular contributor to industry roundtables and events that advance inclusion and excellence in franchising.
This fall, Eggs Up Grill expects to open its 100th location. It also has more than 80 units under development or committed to open, notes a release.
