Founded in 2004, Quesada has over 175 locations in eight provinces. Foodtastic plans to continue expanding the brand’s footprint, with over 50 new locations expected to open over the next 36 months.

“Quesada is one of the largest quick-service restaurant brands in the country, and we are happy to welcome this fast-growing brand into the Foodtastic family,” says Peter Mammas, president and CEO of Foodtastic, in a press release. “We look forward to working with all our new franchisees and expanding the brand in Canada.”

Foodtastic’s portfolio also includes the brands Second Cup, Pita Pit, Milestones, Fionn MacCool’s, Shoeless Joe’s, Au Coq, La Belle et La Boeuf and Monza. With the acquisition of Quesada, Foodtastic’s Canadian system will have over 900 restaurants, along with over 100 locations outside of Canada.
