Effective Nov. 3, Church’s Texas Chicken has appointed Bobby Morena as its chief development officer.

Morena, who will report to Church’s CEO and President Roland Gonzalez, will lead all aspects of the brand’s domestic development strategy, including franchise sales, real estate, design and construction, with a focus on accelerating the brand’s expansion across the United States.

Earlier in his career, Morena worked at Jimmy John’s, where he helped the brand grow from less than 100 locations to thousands nationwide. Most recently, as CDO at GoTo Foods, he led initiatives that helped improve performance, improve franchise relationships and deliver solid ROI, says a release.

Morena holds a bachelor’s in marketing from Michigan State University and serves on the Georgia Restaurant Association Board of Directors.
