Clark Kicks Off Summer Intern Program

The program features more than 100 students from 44 academic institutions and tech schools nationwide.

Clark Associates has kicked off its 2025 Summer Intern Program. As many as 104 students from 44 academic institutions and tech schools nationwide will participate, gaining experience across all areas of the business.

Clark’s remote work opportunities helps draw talent from diverse educational backgrounds across the country. This year, the program has first-time participants from the following institutions:

  • Ave Maria University
  • Kennesaw State University
  • Saint Petersburg College
  • The University of Houston
  • The University of Illinois
  • The University of North Carolina
  • The University of South Carolina
  • Youngstown State University

Interns will gain hands-on experience in various business segments, from equipment and distribution to development, brick-and-click sales and e-commerce. They’ll gain a deeper understanding of the foodservice industry and develop soft skills. Plus, they’ll engage in roundtable discussions and presentations with senior leaders. A highlight of the program is a special group session by company founder, Fred Clark. They’re also invited to take part in the company’s volunteer day in Lancaster, Pa., offering a chance to give back and connect with the community.

Employing over 8,000 people, Clark’s multiple divisions and branches in distribution, sales and technology serve a variety of foodservice customers nationwide. It ranks No. 1 in the FER 2025 Top Dealers Report.
