Component Hardware Group Names New VP of Sales, Marketing

In step with this appointment, the global manufacturer also gains a new general manager in Canada.

Matawan, N.J.-based Component Hardware Group has appointed Stephen King as its VP of sales and marketing for North America.

King previously served as general manager/director of the company’s Canadian operations and global director of marketing, a role in which he was responsible for Canadian P&L, daily operations and leadership of the Canadian enterprise. He has overseen initiatives including the launch of corporate web shops in the USA, Canada and Europe.

He will continue to report to CEO Partha Biswas, and have overall leadership and P&L responsibility for CHG’s sales and marketing initiatives in North America. He will be charged with expanding e-commerce and web-based platforms, engaging directly with customers to deepen relationships, and providing direction to the business development managers to meet the company’s strategic growth objectives.

“Steve brings many years of experience in the foodservice industry, which permits him to intimately understand and engage with CHG’s customers to ensure that Component Hardware exceeds their expectations for quality products and exemplary service,” says Biswas. “We look forward to continued sales growth under his leadership in 2024 and beyond.”

King says he is excited to build deeper customer relationships and showcase the company’s solutions, “from streamlining production and logistics to customized engineering design.”

Mark Beattie takes over as general manager of CHG in Canada, assuming responsibility for Canadian operations and reporting to King.

Established in 1981, Component Hardware Group has engineering, global manufacturing and distribution capabilities serving the foodservice, commercial and institutional markets.
