In Memoriam: Steve Paen, Florida Agents’ First Hire, Passes

MAFSI is mourning the passing of longtime member, Steve Paen, Florida Agents, Inc. and Adams Marketing, who passed away on Jan. 11. Paen joined Florida Agents in 1979 and was the first hire of the newly formed rep agency founded by Jim Degnan.

Paen’s work was focused in the Southeast area of Florida. Says Greg Babin, principal, Florida Agents, “He could walk into a room and raise the positive energy—he would leave everyone laughing at the end of meetings. He loved the foodservice industry, and will be greatly missed.”

Steve leaves behind his wife Donna and two adult children, Megan and Michael.
