Refrigerated Specialist Inc. has added a fourth service zone, and it’s tapping internal talent to lead it.

Anibal Delgado, who joined RSI as an entry-level PM tech in 2015, was announced this week as the new north zone technician supervisor. He will support customers with their equipment as well as support service techs on his team. Further, in support of office admin teams, he will oversee scheduling, repair estimates and billing reviews.

Delgado emigrated from Monterrey, Mexico, with his family when he was 8 years old. He later started his career doing single-family HVAC work. Then, while attending Dallas College, he met Troy Watson (who also was promoted to a supervisor role this year), who recruited him to RSI.

RSI says Delgado has shown a strong work ethic and dedication to mastering his craft. He has moved up the ranks to CFESA master technician and trainer before becoming a supervisor.

“We have no doubt that he will excel in this new role and continue to drive the success of our operations,” says RSI President Scott Hester. “We are excited to see how he will contribute to the continued growth and success of RSI.”
