Wasserstrom Wins Cava’s Service Vendor of the Year Award

Wasserstrom has won the title of 2025 Service Vendor of the Year from Cava, a Mediterranean fast-casual brand based in Washington, D.C.

“We are thrilled to accept this award as a company; however, we owe a huge debt of gratitude to Megan Kimple, Sales Representative specializing in National Chain Accounts, and our Demand Planning Team,” the company states in the release. “Megan’s vision and commitment were the driving force behind this achievement.”

Wasserstrom started working with Cava in 2022, and since then, the chain has shifted to full growth mode, planning 60 to 80 openings per year, with the goal of 1,000 locations by 2032. (In March, Cava announced it opened its first unit in Indiana.)

Wasserstrom has helped support the brand’s growth and today, serves as its primary smallwares provider. In 2024, Wasserstrom provided 65 opening packages to the chain.
