TurboChef, CookTek Make 3 New Hires

New talent has joined the team behind Middleby sister brands TurboChef and CookTek.

The following mark the latest hires:

• Katie Brewer, CookTek product manager: Brewer, who most recently served as the operations manager for the Americas at Flexeserve, will work to strengthen brand presence and customer engagement. She holds a bachelor of science from Texas State University. Previously, as a business consultant, Brewer collaborated with entrepreneurs and organizations to launch and scale their businesses, implementing operational systems and strategic marketing plans that delivered measurable growth. Her earlier roles in financial services, retail, and operations provided a solid foundation in leadership, customer relations and business development.
• Lucy Gomez, culinary development chef: Gomez rejoins the company, having previously spent 15 years as culinary maintenance chef at TurboChef. In that role, she supported research and development efforts, assisted chefs in cooking demonstrations, and performed product testing on ovens and induction units. Gomez also provided culinary training and support to chefs across the U.S., Mexico and LATAM, as well as bilingual customer service for Spanish-speaking clients. She has over two decades of experience spanning bakery operations, cake decoration and culinary support.
• Brandy Atchley, technical writer: Atchley joins the engineering department, bringing experience across audiovisual, aerospace, finance and government industries. In her new role, she will develop and standardize manuals, instruction sheets and technical documentation while managing the brands’ technical library to strengthen customer support and streamline internal materials.
