- Nor-Lake has opened an East Coast distribution center in Simpsonville, S.C., to reduce logistical lead times and costs for its AdvantEdge product line. Nor-Lake, based in Hudson, Wis., is part of the Standex Food Service Equipment Group.
- Manitowoc Foodservice has modernized its culinary center in Cleveland to accommodate more high-tech customer meetings, culinary demonstrations by three full-time chefs, and hands-on training. The re-do includes a complete floor-to-ceiling remodeling of the demonstration kitchen, which showcases an A-to-Z range of Manitowoc brands, from Frymaster fryers, Lincoln, Merrychef and Garland ovens, Varimixer mixers and Cleveland steamers, combi, kettles, and tilting skillets. "These upgrades give our team a great resource for working with end users, dealers, and consultants," said Dennis O’Toole, v.p.-marketing for Manitowoc Foodservice Ovens and ACT divisions.
