Ali North America Names Filippo Berti Chairman & CEO

Filippo Berti has been appointed chairman and CEO of Ali Group North America, a division of Ali Group. Berti succeeds Robert Nerbonne in overseeing all of the group’s North American companies, including Aladdin Temp-Rite, ACP/Amana, Belshaw/Adamatic, Beverage-Air, Burlodge North America, Carpigiani U.S.A., the Champion Group (Champion, BiLine, Moffat, Moyer Diebel), CMA, Edlund, Electro Freeze, Eloma, and Victory Refrigeration.

Berti had been president of Ali Group North America; he recently took that post after serving as CEO of Beverage-Air since its 2008 acquisition. Prior to that, Berti was v.p.-business development, in charge of acquisitions, for the Milan, Italy-based Ali Group.

The privately held Ali Group operates globally through 65 brands and 7,100 employees in 24 different countries.
