FEDA’S UID SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE IS FRIDAY

There are a few days left to apply for scholarships to attend FEDA’s University of Industrial Distribution. The application deadline is Friday, Oct. 21. Any middle-management professional working at an equipment dealership and seeking career advancement in the distribution field, should check out the UID application.

The UID scholarships, valued at $995, allow recipients to attend the March 5-8, 2012 program at Indiana University/Purdue University in Indianapolis. (Participants pay for their own travel, hotel and some meals). Additionally, an extra $300 travel stipend will be awarded to the first person to attend from a dealer firm that previously had not received a scholarship.

Applications from foodservice equipment distributor employees must include a recommendation letter from the company’s president/owner. All applications will be reviewed by the FEDA Education Foundation Trustees. Scholarship recipients will be announced the week of December 12.
