Sysco Adds Development Director For Educational Segment

Tom Lyons has joined Sysco as director of business development for education. He started his two-decade foodservice industry career in college, washing dishes and waiting tables, and spent 10 years in various positions at Ecolab including as a territory manager and as a district sales manager. As a distributor sales manager, he helped launch the Sysco branded Keystone chemical line.

After two years as national sales manager at The Stero Co., Lyons spent nine years selling custom-made serving lines to colleges and universities for BSI, a Denver-based custom fabricator.  Lyons is based at Sysco Denver.
