Two Deadlines Loom For FEDA Members

The deadline is next Monday, Feb. 20, for FEDA members to register for the association’s upcoming convention—not to mention their hotel rooms—at the J.W. Marriott Starr Pass Resort and  Spa in Tucson, Ariz. More information on the March 28 to April 1 convention is available from FEDA’s office, 800/677-9605, or at www.feda.com/convention.

The annual members meeting and elections are March 29 at 7 a.m. The members-only business meeting will begin by 7:15 a.m., with Alan Keck, president of R.W. Smith & Co., leading a discussion on the key points of  Revit and the impact this emerging design trend is likely to have on FEDA members.

FEDA needs its membership to heed another deadline as well: Its 2012 Compensation Survey must be completed by March 1. The survey, conducted every four years, provides participating dealers with valuable information on compensation and benefit policies for not only foodservice dealers but from other related distribution industries. There is no fee to participate and information is only shared with fellow participants. The survey can be accessed at the FEDA website as a .pdf or Excel file in the Members Only section under the surveys heading.
