New Ownership For Togo’s

Togo’s Eateries, the San Jose, Calif.-based sandwich chain, has been acquired by Nimes Capital. Current co-owner, the equity firm Mainsail Partners, will sell its shares to Nimes, a private equity investment arm of Nazarian Enterprises. CEO Tony Gioia will retain his ownership stake in Togo’s and continue leading the chain’s ongoing revitalization and expansion. No changes are expected in the executive team.

Mainsail Partners and Gioia acquired the franchise in 2007, and Togo’s now has 251 QSR units in six western states. The chain was founded in 1971.
