CFESA Seeks Spring Scholars

Those looking to apply for CFESA’s spring scholarships have less than four months to get their materials in order.

Two offerings are available. The Service Hero Scholarship is designed for aspiring or current commercial food equipment service technicians; recipients will receive $2,500 for education and a $1,000 Home Depot gift card for tools. Further, the Support Hero Scholarship is for those working in a support role at a commercial food equipment service company; recipients gain $2,500 toward career development. Both application periods close on Tuesday, July 1.

To be eligible, applicants have to be at least 17, and have obtained or are working toward obtaining a high school diploma or equivalent. The individual also must be employed in the commercial food equipment service industry or be interested in pursuing a job in the industry.
