Publisher’s Note: Join Us for MUFES 2022

As I write this note, I am heading out for a flight to Italy where I will be attending HostMilano. I’m excited to attend my first major show in almost two years. It feels great to get back at it. I also have been spending a great deal of time on the road as of late, visiting manufacturers and clients and hearing how things have changed since my last visit. People are back out on the road and accepting guests in their facilities. It truly is good to be back to in-person.

I have said it before, but the foodservice community is a resilient one. Operators and manufacturers handle whatever is thrown at them quickly and efficiently and are pros at problem-solving. Many also are excited to get back to in-person. Don’t get me wrong, virtual meetings have proven to be an effective and important piece of the mix, and they will undoubtably continue to be moving forward. But there is something about getting together at a conference or show, talking over lunch and dinner, and networking with your peers that is impossible to replicate virtually.

The one-of-a-kind event will take place this January in Arizona.

For many of you, your last in-person conference might well have been FER’s biennial Multiunit Foodservice Equipment Symposium. If you have never been, MUFES is jam-packed with 200- and 300-level sessions on everything commercial and noncommercial operators need to know to implement best practices. I am extremely excited to announce that for many of you, MUFES 2022 might well be your first conference back!

MUFES will take place Jan. 17-19, 2022, at the beautiful (and warm) Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Ariz. It is sure to be our best conference ever. Our room block is already filling fast.
