Yum Brands Shares Leadership Appointments

The changes aim to ‘strengthen its enterprise capabilities and drive long-term value creation across its global portfolio.’

Chris Turner is set to become CEO of Yum Brands next month.

Yum Brands, parent company of Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut and Habit Burger & Grill, is set to seat Chris Turner—currently CEO-designate and chief financial and franchise officer—as CEO on Oct. 1. In step, the company shared several additional leadership appointments.

They are as follows:

  • Sean Tresvant: Tresvant, a three-year Yum Brands employee, has been promoted to chief consumer officer; he also will continue to serve as the CEO of Taco Bell. With his added responsibilities, Tresvant will spearhead efforts across all brands to enhance consumer insights, drive brand relevance and foster innovation that resonates with consumers worldwide, says the release.
  • Jim Dausch: Currently the global chief digital and technology officer of Pizza Hut, Dausch has been promoted to Yum Brands’ chief digital and technology officer and president of Byte by Yum, replacing Joe Park, who is leaving the company.
  • Ranjith Roy: Roy, who joined Yum Brands in 2024 as chief strategy officer and treasurer, has been promoted tochief financial officertaking over for Turner. As CFO, he will drive Yum’s financial planning and performance across its brands.

Turner also plans to hire a chief scale officer; the individual will focus on leveraging Yum’s scale to accelerate franchisee returns, maximize unit economics and drive restaurant profitability across the entire enterprise, says a release. A candidate search is underway.
