Wahlburgers Lays Out Multifaceted Expansion Plan
CEO Randy Sharpe says the brand is committed to growing ‘in a thoughtful, strategic way.’
Wahlburgers is thinking outside of the box as it looks to grow in 2026.
Here are some of its plans:
• The Home Depot partnership: The chain’s new off-premise format is now operating from trailers within The Home Depot locations in three Florida cities: Rockledge, Stuart and Vero Beach. These units offer burgers, shakes and breakfast items. More locations are set to open this year.
• Airport growth: Next month, Wahlburgers will open at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport—the chain’s fourth airport unit, with more planned long-term. Other locations are at Boston Logan International Airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport and Detroit Metropolitan Airport, the last of which opened this past August.
• Bass Pro partnership: This year, Wahlburgers locations are set to open within the retail chain in Irvine, Calif., and Sayreville, N.J.
• Big Cypress Lodge addition: Wahlburgers will open inside Big Cypress Lodge, a five-star establishment in Memphis, Tenn.
Additionally, the chain is evolving its menu and introducing new LTO innovations.
“At Wahlburgers, we’re always pushing flavor forward while staying rooted in what our guests crave,” says Randy Sharpe, CEO of Wahlburgers, in a release. “By popular demand, we’re adding successful promotional items to the core menu and leveling up the lineup with even more craveworthy additions. With indulgent desserts, shareable starters, stacked sandwiches and bold smash-style builds, the new menu hits on all fronts.”
