Unified Brands Names Edwards To Oversee Chain Accounts; Franks To Helm CapKold

Unified Brands has elevated company veteran Alex Edwards to Director of Sales-Chain Accounts. In his new role, Edwards’ responsibilities will include overseeing the growth of the Conyers, Ga., company’s chain foodservice segment, while providing strategic leadership to the chain account management team. He will report to Tom Donovan, V.P.-Sales. Edwards has spent 20 years in the foodservice industry and has held the titles of design specialist, Randell product line manager and senior chain account manager for Unified Brands.

Unified Brands also has added Tim Franks as CapKold Sales Manager to support the sales network for its CapKold product line throughout the U.S. and internationally. He reports to George Campise, Director of Sales-Institutional.

Frank’s 35 years of industry experience includes serving as corporate chef for Unified’s Groen and CapKold product lines from 2004-09. He is HACCP certified and a registered ServSafe instructor; he also holds certification as a master CFESA technician for gas, electric and steam equipment maintenance in addition to an EPA certification for refrigeration.

Unified Brands offers Groen, Randell, Avtec, A la Cart and Power Soak products. It is an operating company within the Refrigeration and Food Equipment segment of Dover Corp.
