CFESA Mourns Passing of Cobblestone Ovens President Christopher Heina

Christopher Heina, president of Cobblestone Ovens in Elk Grove Village, Ill., passed away over the weekend, according to a statement by CFESA.

Heina, a longtime CFESA member, spent over 16 years with Cobblestone Ovens, according to LinkedIn, serving in several executive positions with increasing responsibility. He was a member of the Bakers Courtesy Club of Chicago and a former CFESA board member and marketing committee member. Heina also was pursuing an Executive MBA through Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business.

Heina was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Heina, former co-owner and president of Cobblestone Ovens, and is survived by his father, Ed Heina.

Services will be held on Oct. 10 at 11 a.m. CST at Calvary Cemetery, 667 W. Jackson St., Woodstock, Ill. Contributions can be made in his memory to the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 5701 N. Redwood Drive, Chicago.
