LTI Appoints Director of Educational Sales

Jonesboro, Ga.-based LTI Inc. has promoted Willis Smith to director of educational sales. LTI manufactures and designs modular and custom serving counters, fabrication and serving technologies.

Smith joined LTI in 2007 as a project manager for VisionDesign, an interior design service. He’s transitioning from his current role as an education sales specialist, where he was instrumental in enhancing the impact of LTI’s VisionDesign decor services, according to a press release.

“His outstanding success in growing our VisionDesign product has paved the way for LTI to dedicate further resources to the expansion of this valuable service,” says Mike Purcell, vice president of sales, in a statement. Smith will now be responsible for developing all serving counter and decor business through LTI representative organizations focusing on the education segments.
