PT Holdings Snags K&D Factory Service and Pine Tree Food Equipment

PT Holdings has added two more companies to its growing portfolio: K&D Factory Service and Pine Tree Food Equipment.

The move comes just over two years after K&D Factory Service acquired Pine Tree Food Equipment. Since that acquisition, the companies have been led by Dan Dibeler, and he will continue to lead both brands, which will run as a separate company within PT Holdings.

K&D Factory Service and Pine Tree Food Equipment partner with top manufacturers to support the parts and service needs of customers. The acquisitions will allow PT Holdings to expand its distribution of genuine OEM foodservice parts, according to a press release.

“K&D Factory Service and Pine Tree Food Equipment have everything we look for in a business: strong OEM parts distribution, manufacturer relationships, a great brand and innovative leadership. We have been working with Dan and the K&D Factory Service and Pine Tree Food Equipment teams for a very long time and are excited to support the continued efforts of these great local brands,” says Dave Wenger, president of PT Holdings’ service group, in a press release.

In July, PT Holdings, which includes Parts Town, Parts Town Canada, and First Choice (U.K.), acquired the Bloomington, Minn.-based General Parts, which followed the acquisitions of Dayton Appliance Parts Co. in April and Heritage Foodservice in November 2020.
