SHFM Names Pacifico, President’s Awards Winners

The Society for Hospitality & Foodservice Management has announced the recipients of the 2024 Robert Pacifico Award, President’s Mentorship Award and President’s Award. The association named the winners during its national conference this month in Baltimore.

The 2024 recipients include the following:

• Robert Pacifico Award: Russ Benson, DayOne Hospitality Consulting
• President’s Mentorship Award: Eric Weiss, elite | studio e
• President’s Award: Amanda Beni, HMG+

SHFM also presented the previously announced SHFM Directors’ Awards at events throughout the year. Previously announced recipients include the following:

• Community Service Award: Mboone Umbima, David Rio Chai & Tea
• Spirit Award: Sandy Lim Edwards, Guckenheimer, and Amy Lewis, Kitchens To Go
• Rising Young Professional Award: Brad Silverstein, LifeWorks Restaurant Group
• Leadership Award: Davin Wickstrom, Vivreau Advanced Water Systems
• Richard Ysmael Distinguished Service Award: Sharon Eliatamby, World Bank Group
• Jay B. Silverstein Lifetime Achievement Award: Tony Kaszuba, Tony Kaszuba Foodservice Consulting
