Greenville, S.C.-based Tech24 has completed its first acquisition of the new year.

On Feb. 16, the service company added Quakertown, Pa.-based Commercial Kitchen Repairs to its growing portfolio, giving it an expanded technician workforce and customer base in “a key northeastern market.”

CKR “brings valuable scale and hot-side service exposure to the important Philadelphia market.”

CKR operates in the greater Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley areas, as well as Southwest New Jersey, and provides repair services, planned maintenance and installation of commercial cooking equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals and grocery stores.

CKR “brings valuable scale and hot-side service exposure to the important Philadelphia market,” says Tech24’s CEO Dan Rodstrom. “We look forward to working alongside Dwight Boris and the entire CKR team as part of Tech24.”

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

In 2022, Tech24 acquired Tek Express, 1st Source Restaurant Services, Allied Service Group, AmeriCold, Arrowhead Commercial Equipment, Temco, and Facilities Management and Peltz Services.
